Where Storm Hit Burr Ridge The Most

BURR RIDGE, IL – Wednesday night's storm was brief, causing the most damage in Burr Ridge near 73rd and 74th streets, between Forest Hill and Wolf roads, the village said in a statement.

Overall, the village said the damage was minimal. It advised people to refrain from approaching or touching any downed power lines.

The village also asked residents to avoid driving through neighborhoods along Wolf Road, especially north of 79th Street and south of Interstate 55.

"Our dedicated Public Works personnel are actively engaged in clearing the aftermath of the storm as quickly as possible," the village said.
