Lisa J. Shemroske, president of the chamber and chairman of the expo said she was pleased with the turnout for the event.
"We had a steady stream of people," said Sheroske, who added that the expo was an opportunity not only for residents to become familiar with local businesses, but also business owners to get to know one another.

"[My hope for today is that] people within the chamber will work with other people within the chamber, and we'll show citizens what's out there for them to stay in their own neighborhood," said Sheroske.
The chamber's next community event is an administrative professionals luncheon and spa day scheduled for April 25. Visit the chamber's website for details and to buy tickets.
