CD One Price Cleaners began in 2001 in Chicago and quickly grew to 38 locations across the Midwest. But the Champaign market is not big enough for a traditional CD One Superstore. "That being said, we wanted to bring our high level of quality to Champaign Urbana. We were eager to introduce April's Laundry to the community and positively impact the lifestyles of Champaign Urbana residents and students by eliminating laundry from their life," said Jonathon Reckles, VP of Marketing for CD One Price Cleaners and April's Laundry.

"We had heard a good number of people in the area were using shared laundry rooms or laundromats and there were so many great things they'd prefer to do if they could remove laundry from their list - binge watching the latest shows, extra credit assignments, or even something as simple as reading a book. We were thrilled to be able to give the Champaign Urbana area the chance to regain some of life's simple pleasures and we are pleased with the initial results."
