Unit 4 Schools is pleased to host the Coleman Carrodine Gymnasium dedication ceremony on Tuesday, February 8th at Centennial High School. The dedication will occur at halftime of the Boys Basketball game that begins at 7:30 p.m. The newly renovated gym is being named in honor of the late Mr. Carrodine, who was a highly successful coach and teacher at both Centennial and Central High Schools.

Coach Carrodine, also known as Mr. Charger, dedicated 35 years (1965-2000) of service to the students and staff in the Unit 4 School District. Mr. Carrodine coached basketball and track. He was also a physical education and driver’s education instructor. His coaching accolades include:

Named District Coach of the Year twice
Led Centennial to its first state quarterfinal in 1984
Won three consecutive Big 12 Championships (1994-96)
