Champaign Unit 4 School District: Two Unit 4 Staffers Recognized With Forty Under 40 Awards

Central Illinois Business Magazine named Cessily Thomas, a teacher and site coordinator for Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) at Centennial High School and founder of the Champaign-Urbana Black Teachers Alliance, as Woman of the Year as part of its Forty Under 40 Awards. Derrick Cooper, Associate Principal at Central High School, also received recognition as a Forty Under 40 honoree.
