What are you thankful for?

I’m very grateful for my loving husband of 28 yrs. When we met I was full of energy talked a mile a min and just full of spunk. He knew I got bad migraines and said he would never marry anyone who smokes. That was me beautiful kind great heart and would help anyone no matter what. Always stuck up for the underdog. We talked about having a few kids. Well had emergency hysterectomy. We just passed it off. I worked 24 years at a day care then private nanny. For important people. Pass a few years and got Ra, fibromyalgia, Fibro fog, insomnia, anxiety chemical imbalance and had my first stroke at a young age that left my left side very weak and walk with a cane. Then we add degenerate disc scoliosis, Crps, ptsd, diabetes, carptunnel, nerapathy in hands and feet. Then a year later we had gull bladder taken out appendix and then another stroke. Put me back quit a bit my left leg drags and I don’t sleep much and can go 4 days no sleep. I’m in pain from head to toes 24/7 no vacation time no days off of the 24/7 pain. Then we have to add Wegener's granulomatosis and microscopic polyangitis, vasculitides: Crps depression and didn’t wanna talk or see anyone his dad died one month after being married then my mom his mom and my father and Godmother. A very hard time. Having shingles 10 times in one year. I’m not putting everything that I have I want to share someone who is my other half an angel to me and my caregiver husband best friend. We went from me working 10 hours a days for most of our marriage. Took care of house animals chores then everything changed. He has help me get dressed shower stay home when very sick. This man has done everything for me and not a peep out of him! He has cameras in the house to make sure if he calls and I don’t answer he gets do worried then checks cameras to see I’m ok. It hasn’t been a picnic for him! This handsome smart hard working husband works 24/7 between his job12-15 then coming home to cook help me shower feed the dogs and took his vowels to heart! We renewed our vowels on our 25th anniversary with family and friends! He smiles when he sees me and gives me a kiss. To top things off I forgot 24/7 kinda like dementia from Fibro fog. He puts me first no matter what even his job! I love him dearly and love him even more everyday to have patience with me and doesn’t get upset when I ask him 19 times where are you going to work tomorrow what time. You see sometimes I forget to drink and eat. No sleeping is from pain over rides pain! He has held my hand for 28 years with out anger getting upset cause we are home mostly. I can’t plan anything cause something changes every 5 mins! This man I call my husband best friend and love. Doesn’t think twice when it comes to me. Helps me putting shoes on opens water before he leaves for work. Text me the night before to tell me where he is for work and to call him when I wake up. So I’m not scared not remember where he is.. I know I could have it much worse and others have it worse then me. I want him to know thank you sorry you have to work around the clock! I never go without anything! You will always see a smile on my face. It’s called smile even through all your terrible pain because I don’t like people saying you must be feeling better you have lipstick on or did my hair. Doing hair and shower I’m out for 2 hours after this chore is done! Yes chore because it takes everything out of me. Even last year torn rotator cuff torn 5 tendons and muscle he was off work for months and we prayed we were not gonna lose the house. My insurance alone is 700 bucks a month. This beautiful husband of mine made it work every month. So I want to thank him and say sorry I can’t help much at all! We are 2 peas in a pod! He is my angel that every lady dreams about! He calls me checks in he cuts up my food when needed. I love him more and more everyday. I do what my body allows me but he really needs to know how much I’m so grateful for all he does 24/7. I’m happy for all he does he had served 7 years in military being a cop. GOD and my husband shield me from everything! Words can not tell you how much I appreciate him and his full love. Kept his promise for better or worse sicker or in health richer or poor and we have had hard trying times. We make it through GOD love communication . He is my true love. He has so many talents the list goes on. Love you, boj💕
