Driver Suffered Fatal Heart Attack In Coal City Wreck: Coroner
Coal City resident Dan Doglio was pronounced dead at the scene of Saturday afternoon's crash. He was 61 years old.

COAL CITY, IL — Grundy County Coroner John Callahan and the Coal City Police Department are investigating last weekend's crash that took the life of 61-year-old Coal City resident Dan Doglio.
Callahan said the crash happened around 4:40 p.m. Saturday on Oak Street east of Marguerite Street.
Doglio was driving westbound on Oak when he suffered a fatal heart attack, the coroner said. The Coal City man's vehicle veered off the roadway and went through the yards of several property owners along the next two blocks before striking a culvert in the drainage ditch.

Doglio's vehicle flipped onto its side on the west bank of the ditch, which is located just east of Elizabeth Street. Doglio was pronounced dead at the scene, the coroner said.
The death remains under investigation by Callahan’s Office and Coal City Police Department. Coal City Fire Department assisted at the scene.
