Head-On Crash At Route 52 and Grove Road, Truck Jackknifes Into Ditch: State Police
All lanes were reopened at approximately 12:38 p.m., the Illinois State Police said.

PLATTVILLE, IL —Two people were taken by ambulance to the hospital following Monday's late morning crash at the dangerous intersection of Route 52 and Grove Road in Kendall County. The Illinois State Police said the collision happened at 10:54 a.m.
According to the Illinois State Police, troopers responded to the head-on collision between a Volkswagen car and a Kenworth tractor trailer. The collision caused the truck to jackknife into the ditch, causing the roadway to be shut down.
All lanes were reopened at approximately 12:38 p.m. According to the police, two people were taken to area hospitals by ambulance.

Illinois State Police public information officer Krystal Holdman informed Joliet Patch that the injuries were not reported as life-threatening at the time of the ambulance transports.
