Help Restore Nature At Lake Chaminwood On Thursday
Give back to the preserves during a morning of restoration work in Channahon. Get some fresh air while helping the environment.
Residents can lend a hand at a Volunteer Morning on Thursday, Dec. 11, from 9 a.m. to noon at Lake Chaminwood Preserve in Channahon.
The Forest Preserve District of Will County event offers a chance to get fresh air, stay active and support local habitat restoration through brush control work.

Participants should dress for winter conditions and uneven terrain, with long pants, sturdy shoes and clothing that can get dirty. Water and snacks are recommended. Ages 10 and older are welcome.
