Joliet Teens Nabbed For String of New Lenox Burglaries: Cops
The two teens slipped into unlocked houses in Wildwood subdivision while residents were asleep, police said.

The New Lenox cops linked two Joliet teens to a recent string of burglaries and apprehended both of them, police said.
Christian Benavidez, 18, and an unidentified 17-year-old were captured Wednesday. Benavidez and the younger teen were both arrested at Benavidez’s Walnut Street home.
The two teens slipped inside unlocked houses in Wildwood subdivision late at night while residents were asleep, police said. The four burglaries were committed between late June and this week.

Benavidez was charged with residential burglary and burglary. The younger teen was charged with residential burglary and forgery.
Benavidez was taken to the Will County jail. The 17-year-old was transported to River Valley Juvenile Detention Center.
