CHANNAHON-MINOOKA, IL— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

What makes your Mom extra special?
My Mom has a heart of gold! She’s always there for myself, her hubby, family, friends and most of all her Grandson Niko! We all love her more than words can describe. Her kindness, caring nature and thoughtfulness are just a few amazing things about my Mom!
Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?
She goes out of her way to make people happy, and doesn’t expect anything in return. Not only is she a one of a kind Mom she’s also an awesome Grandma to my son! She’s always uplifting me and has taught me to be strong and have faith in all that I do. We love you so much!
