Motorcyclist Airlifted By Helicopter After Crash At Curve In The Road: Grundy Sheriff
Thursday's crash happened at 11:30 a.m. and only involved the motorcycle rider, who lives close to Chicago.

MINOOKA, IL — A 74-year-old man who comes from the small Cook County community of Stickney is fighting for survival after his three-wheel motorcycle wrecked in rural Minooka. Grundy County Chief Deputy Sheriff Paul Clampitt said the crash happened around 11:30 a.m. Thursday when the motorcyclist missed the curve in the road along Minooka Road as he traveled west.
The man was thrown from his motorcycle, suffering a head injury, police said.
A Lifestar helicopter was called to the scene, and the injured rider was flown to an area hospital in critical condition, Clampitt noted.
