MORRIS, IL — A semi-trailer crashed into an apartment building in Morris Wednesday morning, according to reports.

The semi was headed east on I-80 when it left the roadway after a mechanical failure and crashed into an apartment building in the 1800 block of Anne Lane, WCSJ reported.

According to WJOL, the semi veered off I-80 at Lisbon Road at around 9:30 a.m. The right lane of I-80 was blocked as the crash was under investigation.

No injuries were immediately reported. Illinois State Police are investigating the crash.
