The Troy Community School District 30-C school board recognized its January 2023 Students of the Month at its February school board meeting. Presenting the awards were William B. Orenic Intermediate School 6th grade Principal Kelly Landers and Troy Middle School Assistant Principal Matt Stortz.

W.B.O. Students of the Month were 6th graders Nadya Guzman, Kerrigan Simpson, Rylee Tabler and Charlotte Wegner.


T.M.S. Students of the Month were 7th graders Daniel Lopez, Melissa Frausto, Aaryn Reyes and Ameri Vallera and 8th graders Derek Ngo, Samuel Racutt, Marin Wilhelmi and Jasmine Yates.

Students were selected on the basis of consistent effort, productive citizenship, positive attitude and participation in class. For the honor, the students received Student of the Month certificates and pins and other items to celebrate their accomplishments.
