Troy Dance Team placed 7 out of 29 in competition

On a recent weekend in February, the Troy Dance Team competed in the Illinois Drill Team Association (IDTA) Dance Competition, where they were ranked seventh out of 29 teams. The team has members from William. B. Orenic Intermediate School and Troy Middle School.

The team also received 4th in the Hip Hop category, 5th in Open Pom and 6th in Jazz. Coaches are Christine Thoele and Trisha Koerner.

Team members attending William B. Orenic Intermediate School are Emma Corcoran (manager), Maci Crandall and Cassidy Koerner.

Troy Middle School team members are Natalee Blenck, Malorie Boyer, Lexi Crandall, Lola Crowther, Madison Graves, Ava Jawdat, Olivia Kania, Abbey Potter and Kayli Rieuf.

William B. Orenic Intermediate School and Troy Middle School are Troy Community School District 30-C schools.
