Troy Middle School 8th grader Robert Lightner recently got a surprise in his ELA class. His teacher Jen Silverman said Robert’s brother, Trevor, is leaving for deployment in Romania soon and came to TMS to surprise Robert at school. Silverman said Robert was thrilled to see his brother in uniform. Their mother was also present for the special surprise.

“The class was very excited to meet him and thank him for his service in the United States Army,” Silverman said.
