In a school tradition, Troy Shorewood Elementary School LRC Associate Jolene Chamblee recently held a school-wide hunt for a little paper gingerbread baby. The school’s four classes of kindergartners went on the hunt after Troy Educational Technology Coordinator Sarah Wells read the book, “Gingerbread Baby,” by Jan Brett, to them, with Troy LRC Facilitator Carrie Upjohn assisting.

Chamblee said she participated in the tradition for the first time when she was a grade school student herself, then later brought it to Troy.

Troy Shorewood Elementary School is a Troy Community School District 30-C school.
