CHICAGO — Two men were abducted and robbed in separate incidents within 15 minutes of one another early Sunday morning in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood, according to police.

In at least one of the incidents, the victims were forced into a gray sedan when the suspects displayed a gun and forced the victims into the car within a few blocks of Wrigley Field, Chicago Police said.

The first incident took place just after 1 a.m. in the 3500 block of North Clark St. and involved a 27-year-old man who was forced into the car at gunpoint by two men. Police said that the man was driven around the area for several minutes during which he was robbed of his wallet and cell phone before being dropped off, police announced.

At 1:15 a.m., another man, 23, was standing on the sidewalk in the 1100 block of North Addison St., when he was forced into a gray sedan and had his wallet and cell phone taken before being dropped off, police said.

Neither man was injured but police warned that another person was abducted and robbed in the same area on Saturday night. Police on Monday described the suspects as being men between the ages of 25 and 32 and that they were wearing dark clothing at the time of the incidents.
