3 Killed In Wrong-Way Crash On Stevenson Expressway Friday: ISP
Illinois State Police said a driver went the wrong way on the Stevenson Expressway shortly after midnight, colliding with another car.
CHICAGO — Three people were killed in an early Friday morning crash on the Stevenson Expressway, Illinois State Police said.
A driver going the wrong way down a southbound lane entered the expressway at Cicero Avenue and collided head-on with another car at 12:35 a.m., initial reports from ISP found.
A woman and a passenger in the car going the wrong way were killed. The driver of the other car also died. According to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office, 54-year-old Khalid Jaber and 26-year-old Rella Ellise Norey were identified in the crash. The third person's name has not yet been released.

All southbound lanes on the Stevenson were closed between Cicero and Central avenues for five hours until 5:35 a.m.
