Armed Person In Clown Mask Holds Up South Loop Doughnut Shop

No one was hurt in the incident, which happened early Thursday.

CHICAGO — An armed person dressed in a clown mask held up a Dunkin' Donuts on Thursday in the South Loop, the Chicago Tribune reports. No one was hurt in the early morning incident.

The robbery happened around 1:50 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, at the doughnut shop in the 1500 block of South Michigan Avenue, the report stated. Only one person was working when the mask-wearing individual entered and demanded money from the cash register, the report added.

The person, who also was dressed in green pants and a green coat, took the drawer from the register and escaped out the shop's back door, the report stated. It's not known how much money was in the drawer at the time.
