1. ABC Chicago reports eight people were shot and killed over the weekend in the city, including two teenagers. More than 20 others were injured in shootings, according to police. (ABC)

2. President Joe Biden plans to visit Chicago tomorrow to give an economic address, the White House announced. He will also attend a political fundraiser as he runs for re-election. (ABC)

3. A vigil was held Friday for Noah Enos, a 26-year-old man whose body was found last week in the Chicago River. Loved ones gathered at the Salt Shed, the last place Enos was seen before he went missing June 12. His death is still being investigated. (Block Club)

4. Amtrak schedule changes are now in effect to account for higher speeds on the route from Chicago to St. Louis. Transit officials said it will subtract up to 30 minutes from the trip between cities, which will now take less than five hours. (CBS)

5. Almost a week after it was released on Hulu, the second season of “The Bear” maintains a 100 percent fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The hit series stars Jeremy Allen White as an accomplished chef striving to open his own restaurant in River North.
