CHICAGO — After a 2023 Chicago concert scene that included memorable performances by Taylor Swift, Beyonce, and Ed Sheeran, 2024 seems to be off to a rousing start.
Live Nation announced on Thursday morning that Billy Joel and Stevie Nicks will play a “one night only” show at Soldier Field in June. The event was part of a highly anticipated concert announcement that was planned by Live Nation, Ticketmaster, and the Chicago Park District, which owns and operates Soldier Field.

The show will take place on June 21 and will involve “two iconic performers” who will share the stage for the one-time event. The news release said that the occasion will mark the first time that the two musicians have appeared in the same venue on the same night.
