Blackhawks' Connor Bedard Captures Rookie Of The Month Honors
The 18-year-old rookie forward scored six goals and registered six assists in 12 games and became the first Hawks rookie since 2020 to win.

CHICAGO — The Chicago Blackhawks expected big things when they selected Connor Bedard with the overall No. 1 pick in this year’s NHL Draft. So far, so good.
The 18-year-old forward was selected as the NHL’s Rookie of the Month for November after tallying six goals and six points in 12 games. Bedard edged out fellow rookies Connor Zary of the Calgary Flames, Columbus Blue Jackets left winger Dmitri Voronkov, Minnesota Wild center Marco Rossi, and Philadelphia Flyers goaltender Samuel Ersson for the monthly honor.
Bedard tallied a career-best four-point game on Nov. 9 against the Tampa Bay Lightning when he scored a pair of goals and recorded two assists in a victory. In doing so, he became the third youngest player (18 years, 115 days) to turn in a 4-point performance.
