Body Of Man Pulled From Lake Michigan In Chicago Neighborhood: CPD

Police said the body of a man between 60-65 years old was pulled from the lake in Rogers Park before 6 a.m. He was pronounced dead on scene.

CHICAGO — The body of a man has been pulled from Lake Michigan on Tuesday, marking the second time first responders have pulled a body from a Chicago waterway in three days.

Chicago Police said that the man’s body was reported in the water at 5:50 a.m. on Tuesday in the 1000 block of West Pratt Boulevard in Chicago’s Rogers Park neighborhood. The man is believed to be between the ages of 60 and 65, police said.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have not released the man’s identity and an autopsy is scheduled after which time police investigators will continue to look into the incident.

The discovery of the man in Lake Michigan comes three days after police pulled the body of Noah Enos, who had been reported missing after attending a concert at the Salt Shed out of the Chicago River on Saturday morning.
