1. A 20-year-old man faces eight felony charges for a hit-and-run crash which seriously injured four people Tuesday night outside Guaranteed Rate Field. Condelarious Garcia “has never been issued a driver's license and had previously been arrested in Cook County for driving without a license,” according to court records. (Patch)

2. Investigators removed a body from Lake Michigan Thursday morning, just hours after a 19-year-old woman went missing near Foster Beach. Witnesses told police she “was swept under water by a strong current while attempting to make her way back to shore.” (Patch)

3. Six teens face a range of charges after damaging the inside of a store on Michigan Avenue Tuesday. Police said a group of juveniles also jumped on a vehicle in the Douglas neighborhood the same night. (NBC)

4. The Bronzeville church where Emmett Till was memorialized could soon become a U.S. landmark, CBS reports. Illinois senators hope to make Roberts Temple Church of God in Christ a national monument with new legislation. It is already a designated Chicago landmark. (CBS)

5. More than 70 park district pools will open today across the city, Block Club reports. Pool openings were delayed last summer due to a shortage of lifeguards. (Block Club)
