CTA Bus Crash Injures 15 People In Goose Island
Two of the 15 people were occupants of the Mercedes that collided with CTA bus, report said.

CHICAGO, IL — Fifteen people were injured Wednesday afternoon when a CTA bus and a car crashed in the Goose Island neighborhood, according to the Sun-Times. The news report said a westbound black Mercedes and the bus crashed at 1:47 p.m. on Chicago Avenue east of Peoria Street, and 15 people were sent to hospitals, including the two people in the Mercedes who were seriously injured, according to Chicago police and fire officials. Their injuries aren't believed to be life-threatening, authorities told the Sun-Times.
The other 13 people injured were on the bus, including the driver, and are all listed in fair to serious condition.
CTA said Wednesday afternoon the 66 Chicago bus was being rerouted in the area.
