- A CTA employee was held without bond for shooting a 37-year-old man at the 95th Street Red Line station. Sylvester Adams, 53, of Lynwood, faces charges of attempted murder and unlawful use of a weapon. (NBC5)

- Brown Sugar Bakery in Chicago's Greater Grand Crossing was severely damaged Sunday after someone drove a car into the building. "When I got here, I was surprised they drove in to my walk-in freezer on the inside of the bakery," employee Stephanie Hart said. (NBC5)
