CTA promotional video gives Chicago first glimpse at what Red Line extension, new stations could bring to far South Side neighborhoods.

CHICAGO — The long-awaited, often talked about Red Line extension that's still not fully funded and years away becoming a reality has its own Facebook page and 9-minute marketing video.
The proposed 5.3-mile extension includes four new stations at 103rd Street, 111th Street, Michigan Avenue near 116th Street and 130th Street. The Facebook video includes animated graphics of the proposed stations and the possible economic development the project could bring to far South Side neighborhoods including Roseland, Pullman and Altgeld Gardens.
"As a South Sider myself, I am committed to bringing this project home and to show you that your wait is now finally over," CTA President Dorval Carter said in the video.
