DEA Agents Shoots, Kills Man In Chicago During Drug Bust: Report

CHICAGO, IL — A DEA agent shot and killed a man during a drug bust Saturday morning, The Chicago Tribune reports.

A DEA spokeswoman told the paper agents were investigating a cocaine distribution point and the man fled when agents first tried stopping him. At their second attempt of stopping the man on South Central Avenue, the man hit the agent with his car, the paper reports.

The agent fired his weapon, killing the man. According to the Tribune, a significant amount of cocaine was found in the car.
