Diesel Spill On Kennedy Means Drivers Should 'Take Care': IDOT

Illinois Department of Transportation warned drivers there are crews cleaning up a diesel spill in the area near West Addison Street.

CHICAGO — Transportation officials are cleaning up a diesel spill on the inbound Kennedy Expressway at West Addison Street, the agency announced Tuesday morning, and are asking drivers to be careful in that area.

Crews began cleaning up the spill at around 8:15 a.m. A spokesperson for ISP said no lanes are closed, but cautioned drivers to be especially alert of workers on the side of the road.
