Do You Know This Woman? Help ID 'Jane Doe' Found On CTA Bus
The injured woman was discovered Friday in Chicago's South Austin neighborhood.

CHICAGO, IL — Police are trying to determine the identity of an injured woman who was found on a CTA bus late last week, according to an alert issued by the department Monday. The woman, referred to by Chicago police as "Jane Doe," was discovered Friday, but the alert did not specify the neighborhood she was located in or the bus route she might've been on.
According to the Chicago Tribune, the woman was on a bus near South Central Avenue and West Harrison Street in the South Austin neighborhood. Police told the Tribune that they wouldn't give details about the condition or current whereabouts of Jane Doe because investigators didn't know how she was hurt. In a photo released with the police alert, a breathing tube is clearly seen in the woman's mouth.
Police released the following description of Jane Doe along with the photo:

- between 30 and 40 years old
- about 5 feet 5 inches tall
- brown hair
- blue eyes
The woman also has at least two tattoos. They include a spider and its web on her lower back and the word "Heather" in capital letters on a banner on her right shoulder, the alert stated.

Jane Doe was wearing a black jacket with a blue collar, black pants and black boots. The woman's weight was not revealed in the alert.
