Chicago radio star Lin Brehmer announced he'll take a leave l from his midday radio show on WXRT to start “a long period of chemotherapy.”

• Three men face felony charges in the early Saturday shooting at Sean's Rhino Bar in Beverly that resulted in an off-duty police officer and being shot and wounded. Officer Dan Golden, 32, was shot in the back. A bullet remains lodged in his lung. (CBS2)
• Indicted Ald. Edward Burke's trial on corruption charges is set for November 2023. That gives Burke a chance to run for re-election while facing federal charges for a second time. (FOX32)
• Chicago is the second-best city on Earth, according to a new list. (ABC7)
