"I am devastated and an emotional wreck," his former partner on the air told WGN.
FREEPORT, IL — Joe Colborn, better known to many as “JoBo” Bohannon of the "Eddie & JoBo" show, has died, B96 announced Monday.
“As half of the iconic Eddie & JoBo morning show, JoBo helped make this station what it is today,” the station said in a social media post. “For years, he and Eddie brought laughter, energy, and real Chicago spirit to our airwaves. We celebrate his legacy — because once a part of B96, always a part of B96.”
The pair teamed up at B96 in 1988, moved to Philadelphia briefly in the mid-1990s, and returned to the station, where they remained from 1996 until late 2008, according to B96.
