'Jane Doe' Found On CTA Bus Dies (UPDATED)
The woman, identified as Nancy Rosario, was discovered Dec. 15 on the West Side, according to Chicago police.

CHICAGO, IL — A hurt Southwest Side woman discovered on a CTA bus late last week died Tuesday. Originally identified as "Jane Doe," Nancy Rosario, 45, of Brighton Park, was pronounced dead at 1:20 p.m. Dec. 22, at West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.
The woman was found Dec. 15 unresponsive on a bus near South Central Avenue and West Harrison Street in the South Austin neighborhood, according to a Chicago police alert released Monday. Police did not know how the woman was hurt and didn't give details about the bus route she was found on over concerns about her safety. A photo released with the original alert showed a breathing tube in the woman's mouth.
A police alert Friday morning said the woman had been identified, but it did not give details about how she died. Police told the Sun-Times the woman suffered from a medical condition, but her cause of death has not been released by the Cook County medical examiner's office.
