JULY 3: “Light Up the Night” Fireworks. Held after sunset.


BRIDGEVIEW

JULY 3: 3rd of July Celebration & Fireworks. Includes a DJ and food trucks.

CHICAGO

JULY 1: Independence Day Weekend Fireworks. “A dazzling free fireworks display.”


DES PLAINES

JULY 2: Fireworks. Music and yard games precede the display.

JULY 4: Parade. This year’s theme is “Together We Shine.”


ELMWOOD PARK

JULY 4: Parade. “It’s back and better than ever.”


EVANSTON

JULY 4: Parade, Concert & Fireworks. The city marks its 100th Independence Day celebration with family activities, a fun run, fireworks and more.


EVERGREEN PARK

JUNE 30: Parade & Fireworks. Veterans and active military are invited to lead the parade with their families.


OAK PARK

JULY 4: Oak Park. "The many dimensions of diversity in Oak Park are on display” at this annual event. Fireworks will not be held this year.


OAK LAWN

JULY 1: Parade. Post-event entertainment at the Village Green.

JULY 4: Fireworks. Presented by the village and park district.


PALOS

JULY 3: Independence Day Celebration. Includes “food, music, beer and fireworks,” plus a parade on July 4.


RIVERSIDE

JULY 3-4: Concert, Parade & Festival. Includes a 5K race and food vendors.
