The city ranks as one of the best to live in when it comes to keeping your goals for the new year, according to a personal finance website.

CHICAGO, IL — Worried that the New Year's resolutions you're so gung-ho about on Dec. 30 will fall by the wayside by Jan. 2? If you live in Chicago, you have a better chance than most people of making sure those resolutions stick, according to a personal finance website.
Chicago was ranked No. 25 among 182 U.S. cities that are the best to live in if you want to keep some of the most popular — and most commonly broken — New Year's resolutions related to health, money and relationships. The list was compiled by WalletHub by applying a series of 52 metrics — such as gyms per capita and employment outlook — to resolutions dealing with health, finances, relationships, bad habits and school and work.
The best city to live in to keep New Year's resolutions was Seattle, followed by San Francisco; San Diego; Scottsdale, Arizona; and Salt Lake City. Gulfport, Mississippi, ranked the worst.
