  • Chicago's top doc wants Lollapalooza revelers to test their illegal drugs for fentanyl before taking a snort or popping a pill at the Grant Park music fest. Also, don't forget to pack Narcan. (CBS2)

  • Shedd Aquarium has two new residents. You can watch female southern Rockhopper penguins, Tussock and Pinguino in the Polar Play Zone at Shedd Aquarium. In private, Shedd scientists hope they make babies. The population of rockhopper penguins are declining. (Patch)
  • Mayor Lori Lightfoot signed an executive order banning the police department from helping outside agencies investigate people who travel to Chicago for abortions. (WTTW)
  • Lollapalooza founder Perry Farrell says the festival remain in Chicago for another decade. "The mayor has given us a 10-year extension in the park,” Farrell told WGN’s Dean Richards. (WGN9)
