CHICAGO — If Chicago residents and Bulls fans have a tough-to-shop-for friend or family member for the upcoming holiday, former Bulls star and NBA champion Scottie Pippen just may have the answer.

It will just cost you $333,333.

Luxury retailer Neiman Marcus is offering fans the opportunity to spend the day in Los Angeles with the former Bulls star and his son. The day includes spending some time on the basketball court with Pippen, who was part of the Bulls’ multiple NBA championships along with Michael Jordan during the team’s dynasty run of championship runs.

Neiman Marcus is promoting the offer as the “ultimate sports experience” and offers the buyer a day-long experience with Pippen and son, Scotty Pippen, Jr. that includes a private dinner with the two Pippens, a sample of Pippen’s bourbon, “Digits” and a signed copy of Pippen’s book, “Unguarded.”

If the price looks familiar, it’s because Pippen, who played 17 seasons in the NBA, wore No. 33 with the Bulls during the team’s meteoric rise.

Pippen will donate $278,000 toward the CHI Prep Academy, a not-for-profit program that promotes high standards in academics, entrepreneurship, and athletics. Travel to and from Los Angeles is not included in the price, Neiman Marcus said.

The promotion comes more than a year after Pippen offered up his former home in Highland Park to AirBNB customers, who, for $92 for the night, could stay in Pippen's North Shore mansion during the Olympics to watch basketball games and spend time playing on the basketball court at the home. Of course, Pippen wasn't there but implored guests to make themselves at home but to keep the noise down so as to not get on the neighbors' nerves.
