Man's Body Pulled From Chicago River Outside Salt Shed Music Venue: PD
The 63-year-old man is the second person to be found dead in the river near the concert venue in a month.

CHICAGO — The body of a 63-year-old man was pulled from the Chicago River on Thursday evening near the Salt Shed music venue, marking the second time a body has been recovered from the river in that location in the past month, police said.
The man has only been identified as John Doe, Chicago Police said. Police were called to the 1300 block of North Elston Avenue just before 7 p.m. for the report of a body being found in the river. Police pronounced the man dead at the scene.
Police have not yet determined how the man died or how he came to end up in the river, police said. Police have not released a physical description of the man or whether they suspect foul play in the incident.

Police said that no one is in custody in connection with the man’s death.
The discovery on Thursday night comes almost a month after 26-year-old Noah Enos was pulled from the river outside of the Salt Shed. His body was found in the river nearly a week after he was reported missing after having attended a concert at the music venue.

Police said Enos had moved to Chicago last fall from Missouri and had attended a King Gizzard and Lizard show at the Salt Shed when he went missing.
