CHICAGO — How does Mayor Lori Lightfoot feel about the U.S. Supreme Court's ruling that allows states to ban abortion?

"F---, Clarence Thomas," Lightfoot said Saturday to a crowd gathered to celebrate Pride festivities. "He thinks we are going to stand idly by while they take our rights."

The mayor's comment came in response to Thomas's concurrence with the ruling that effectively overturned Roe vs. Wade that suggested the same legal argument could be used to overturn gay marriage protections.
