Plane Carrying National Guard Chief Returns To Midway International Airport After Hitting Bird

CHICAGO (CBS) — A U.S. military plane was forced to return to Midway International Airport after taking off late Monday after a bird strike.
Gen. Daniel Hokanson, the Chief of the National Guard Bureau, was on the plane, a National Guard representative confirmed Monday night.
