Police Block I-90, I-94 At Rush Hour For Shooting Investigation

CHICAGO — All southbound lanes of the Edens Expressway were blocked Friday morning while police investigated reports of a shooting, officials said.

According to Chicago’s Office of Emergency Management and Communications, Interstates 90 and 94 were stopped at Montrose Avenue from around 7:20 a.m. to 8:20 a.m. due to the investigation.

Illinois State Police told Patch they responded to the scene, but no further details were available.
