CHICAGO (CBS) — Chicago police assigned to the mayor fired their weapon Tuesday morning in the Logan Square neighborhood.

Police said the on-duty officers were assigned to Mayor Lori Lightfoot's security detail when they witnessed a robbery 1800 block of North Monticello Avenue around 7 a.m.
