CHICAGO — In honor of the Democratic National Convention coming to town, Gov. JB Pritzker showed Jordan Klepper of “The Daily Show” around the Windy City for a segment Monday on the program.

While Chicago’s many world-class museums were discussed, the pair opted instead to stop at Gman Tavern for a shot of Malort, which Pritzker called “a Chicago special” and Klepper compared to “sucking on the leg of a wet dog.”

In between talking about the convention and presidential race, they also swung by Guthries Tavern, Murphy’s Bleachers and Wrigley Field.

Along the way, Klepper asked Pritzker a hard-hitting question that’s been on many peoples’ minds: Is “The Bear” a comedy or a drama?

“I don’t know why it’s in the comedy category,” the governor said. “But I’ve got to say it’s one of the best shows on TV and it shows off Chicago.”
