Red Sports Car Crashes Into Dior Store Downtown, Driver Injured
Chicago fire officials said the male driver was taken to the hospital where he is listed in serious condition.

CHICAGO — A man is in serious condition after driving a car into a Dior storefront in the Gold Coast area Friday, according to fire officials.
The crash occurred at around 11:20 a.m. in the 900 block of North Rush Street. According to police, the man was driving what appeared to be a red Camaro northbound on the sidewalk of North Michigan Avenue when he hit the store.
The driver was taken into custody and then transported to Northwestern Memorial Hospital where he is in serious condition, authorities said.
