Snow To Hit Illinois: Slush, Rain Mixed With Snow In Forecast
Less than an inch of slushy snow could accumulate late Saturday into Sunday, with another chance of snow Monday, but a big warm-up Tuesday.

ILLINOIS — Snow showers and potentially rain mixed with snow are expected to hit the Chicago Saturday night, lasting through Sunday morning. More snow — this time lake effect snow — could hit Sunday night, with another slight chance of light rain and snow on Monday.
Expect a warm-up on Tuesday, when temperatures could get into the low 60s or at least the upper 50s.
Temperatures in the low 30s Saturday night and dipping into the upper 20s Sunday night could mean some snow sticks. The National Weather Service said minor slushy snow accumulation of under 1 inch is possible, especially on grassy or elevated areas, along with gusty winds of up to 40 mph Sunday afternoon.
