Super Tuesday: Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump Win Big; Cruz Takes Texas, Oklahoma

Texas, Virginia, Tennessee, Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia go for Clinton. Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee and Massachusetts called for Trump.

One-quarter of Republican delegates and one-fifth of Democrat delegates were up for grabs on Super Tuesday, and as the night wound down it became clear that Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump would walk away with most of them.

DEMS:

Hillary Clinton has won Massachusetts, Virginia, Tennessee, Texas, Alabama, Arkansas and Georgia.

Sen. Bernie Sanders: Vermont, Oklahoma, Minnesota, Colorado.

GOP:

Donald J. Trump won: Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Virginia, Tennessee and Massachusetts.

Sen. Ted Cruz: Texas, Oklahoma.

Sen. Marco Rubio: Minnesota.

Sander and Cruz each won his home state in addition to Oklahoma. On Tuesday, Democrats voted in 11 states and American Samoa with 865 delegates at stake. Republicans voted in 11 states with 595 delegates.
