Taylor Swift To Perform Pair Of Soldier Field 'Eras' Shows In 2023

Swift comes to Chicago in early June as part of a stadium tour that begins in the spring and features music from throughout her career.

CHICAGO — On the heels of the recent release of her "Midnights" album, Taylor Swift on Tuesday announced a tour that will bring her to Chicago in 2023 with a pair of stadium shows.

Swift's "The Eras" tour will stop at Soldier Field on June 2 and June 3 It will be her first performance here since 2018.

The set list likely will be markedly different from her last tour, as she has released four original studio albums since then: "Lover," "Folklore," "Evermore" and "Midnights." In a statement, Swift said the tour will take fans back through her music career.

Girl in Red and Owenn will be the opening acts at the Soldier Field show.

"I’m enchanted to announce my next tour: Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour, a journey through the musical eras of my career (past & present!)," Swift wrote Tuesday on Twitter. "The first leg of the tour will be in stadiums across the US, with international dates to be announced as soon as we can!"

Billboard reported on Monday that Swift became the first artist in the 64-year-history of the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart to claim the survey's entire top 10 in a single frame. All of those songs were from "Midnights."

Tickets for the Chicago show are not yet on sale, according to Ticketmaster, but fans can register to buy tickets as early as 10 a.m. on Nov. 15 before tickets go on sale to the general public on Nov. 18.

Swift is using a Ticketmaster Verified Fan program for ticket sales. Those seeking to purchase tickets through the program can register here through Nov. 9.
