Here are the top three stories today in Chicago:
- Through Sunday, May 14, a new dining experience featuring geodesic domes is officially opened across from Pioneer Court. The outdoor pop-up restaurant Dinner With A View lets guests eat dinner from inside a terrarium dome that was inspired by different landscapes from around the world. There are around 33 domes and each one showcases a different natural region of the Earth that guests can explore. (Splash Magazines)
- On Sunday, Apr. 9, a teenage girl was shot in the head near Jackie Robinson Park on Chicago's Far South Side. Officials say police responded to gunshots a little before 1:00 a.m. and after arriving on the scene, they found 15-year-old Demea Morris sitting in the backseat of a car with a gunshot wound in her head. The incident has prompted outrage from community activists. (NBC Chicago)
- Last week, an Illinois Lottery player ended up winning a $1 million prize on Good Friday. The winning player won with a Lucky Day Lotto ticket that was purchased from a Family Pantry outside of the city in Morton Grove. The ticket matched all five of the numbers drawn, earning them the winning jackpot. (FOX32 Chicago)
