• An Uber driver tells the story of his experience getting carjacked. "They grab my phone. They say, 'Don't move. A few of them pull out guns. One of them put a gun against my head," he said. (CBS2)
• White Sox pitcher Liam Hendricks was named to the American League All-Star team. He's the first Sox reliever since Bobby Jenks to make back-to-back All-Star teams.(NBC5)
• Some basements in Mount Greenwood were flooded with nearly a foot of floodwater and raw sewage. "The worst part, raw sewage coming into house. It’s gonna be a major cleanup," one flooding victim said. (FOX32)
• A third Chicago police officer has died from suicide since the start of July. A police sergeant died from a self-inflicted gunshot would on Sunday. (WGN9)
